Made for my Digital Art and Design Class, these pieces of digital art were made to represent a series of different “truisms” from a list provided by my teacher. We had to use images from things we’d already created,  find images online, and make two new images specifically for this project.

A little about each image:

  • “Emotional responses are as valuable as intellectual responses”
    • A drawing I made for a drawing class modified using Photoshop.
  • “Technology will make or break us”
    • A picture from my Codies project (included in my portfolio) modified in Photoshop.
  • “You can’t expect people to be something they’re not”
    • Found image modified in Photoshop, mainly through posterization and poster edge filters.
  • “Categorizing fear is calming”
    • Found image, modified in Photoshop.
  • “A little knowledge can go a long way”
    • A drawing from the same drawing class, modified in Photoshop.
  • “You are guileless in your dreams”
    • Image taken for project, modified in Photoshop… no, I don’t have a tattoo.
  • “Repetition is the best way to learn things”
    • Picture of a Joker card I took for the class repeated and modified in Photoshop.
