Magic Kingdom

Created for my 2D design class taken at College of DuPage. This project required us to take a picture of a landscape and chop it into bits based on contrast, we then had to paint it in a single color scheme with one extra color as a highlight. I chose an old picture of some Disney topiaries with Cinderella’s castle in the background. My painting was chosen to be included in the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibit spring 2017 and displayed in the Cleve Carney Art Gallery. Created with acrylic paint on a wooden box.
